Testimonials 2020 -2021

6/26/20 Hi Kitsy, Hope you are doing well! We are greatly enjoying the BM male pup we named Scout in our family! (Sutter X Kindle 1/20) He loves walks, especially the dog beach, and will do ANYTHING for a treat haha. He has been such a special light and joy in this home quarantine life for us. So again, thank you, just know he is well loved. We are considering another male puppy addition later this year. I see you are doing well with a long waitlist. We will reach out again when we are ready. Be well, Nicole Kramer
12/30/21 Hi Kitsy! We’re spending the holidays in Idaho and Hugo can’t get enough of the snow. We have about 2 feet and it’s about 10 degrees. We have been cutting snowshoe trails, but he deviates from the paths and has to dolphin jump through the deep snow. Santa brought a toy that “floats” on the snow - the Chuck-it Flying Squirrel and it’s a hit! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our little Snow Man :) Devin & Shana Reiss
12/17/21 Hi Kitsy, Hope this e-mail finds you well. We’re having a blast raising Coco (Loretta x Sutter 2021). Coco's a super sweet natured girl, very extroverted, loves being with family and being included! We take her everywhere we can and she’s now more popular than us, haha. Her spirits are always high and nothing gets her down. Coco's gone to puppy classes since her first week home and is making great progress on foundational training. We’re looking forward to agility class when she’s old enough and I know she’s going to love it. Can’t believe she's almost 7 months! She quickly became the heart of our house and we're blessed to have this remarkable girl. Thank you so much for our wonderful pup. We’ll keep you updated as she grows. Happy Holidays, Diana, Francisco, & Coco
11/25/21 This is my handsome Buddy. His birthday is 2/24/2019. His parents are Sutter and Jinx. We love him so much.He is INCREDIBLY Smart. Really cuddly. He loves to vacation at the beach with his older sister Lola. Thank you so much Kitsy for our beautiful boy. Jennifer Perrine
11/9/21 Hi Kitsy, Just an update on Tucker. He is doing really well. Our business still hasn’t closed escrow, but our house did. So, we are hanging out in Orange County on our RV waiting to leave on our trip. He has totally adapted to the RV lifestyle. He just loves all the stimulation, people and pets. Never barks. Just watches the world go by. We love him and thank you again! Okay Karen Bates
10/22/21 Hi Kitsy, I cannot believe it has been three months since we picked up Fay! (Loretta x Sutter, 6/21) She is amazing, we absolutely love her. She is quite the character though! She is super smart, quite the vocal girl, very loyal and sweet but definitely has a mischievous side to her. Even her looks are mischievous. At 18 weeks she weighed in at 22.5 pounds and she is growing by the day. We are in puppy kindergarten, and starting a puppy agility class. She loves to learn and is quick to get the lessons. She is walking well on her leash and getting socialized in her classes and with playdates with Mayday and Bill. Vicki loves her. Thank you for allowing Fay to come into our lives. She is a very special girl. Best, Courtney
9/11/21 Hi Kitsy, Here are some updates of Hugo (2/13/2020, Jinx & Ransom). We live on rural property (no fences) and he always sticks close by, but is independent! He loves to be outside during the day!! Sometimes when we call him in, he drops to the ground like a Navy Seal and gives us the “not happening” look. Outside is his favorite place. We do so much exploring together: hiking, paddle boarding, hanging out with the cows, fall scouting for elk, you name it… he’s game. He also goes to the office every day and keeps the morale high! He’s been a great addition to our family. We also wanted to let you know that our sweet Bode crossed the rainbow bridge a couple of months ago (he was 14). We have included a few pictures of him as well. He was the first dog we got from you and because he was so great, we couldn’t have gone anywhere else when it came time to get Hugo. We love our dogs!! Thank you for your good work! Shana & Devin Reiss
7/26/21 Hi Kitsy, I hope all is well with you. Here’s an update on Rocky (Sutter X Winter 10/15/19) finally! He’s doing great..he’s 55lbs and healthy! He is a very beautiful boy, people stop and tell us all the time! Rocky is very smart and loves the ocean, if he could run and be in the water all day he would :). He is also very good at catching a frisbee. Rocky is a happy, loving and loyal boy and he loves his Daddy! We are grateful to have him in our lives! Sincerely, Rick and Kim
7/22/21 Hi Kitsy How are you? Blue (Ransom and Nighty 2-20) is doing great. He constantly loves to play and talk. Our boys love playing with him. He is a great companion. The best!! We have been taking him to a local dog group off leash with about 30 other dogs, and he loves running around and playing. Thank you Kitsy. Your new litter is adorable!! Miss ya and hope your are doing great! Warmest, The Avila Family
5/5/21 Hi Kitsy! I hope all is well with you & your dogs! I thought that you might like to see some recent photos of Peachy. Today is her 5th birthday (Jinx & Ransom, 5/5/16). Even though Peachy is the smallest of our 4 dogs, she is still the top dog! Everything is still peachy in Peachy's world!! Take care! Amy
4/17/21 Hi Kitsy, Hope you are doing well. I wanted to give you an update on our boy....... Sailor (Sutter X Winter 10/15/19) is a year and half now, he is 55 lbs, beautiful and full of Aussie energy and sass. He is doing very well in obedience and agility training (he learns quickly). He is good natured and is friendly with people(really good with kids) and other dogs. And of course he can be quite stubborn. He has grown into a very affectionate, loyal and protective companion. We look forward to many more years of adventures. Sincerely, Jan and Jim Clark
3/6/21 Hi Kitsy! It’s been a while since we’ve sent an update on Chase (Loretta X Sutter 2018) so we figured it was about time! We hope you’ve been doing well in these crazy times. Chase is about 2 and a half now and has really developed into a great adult dog. He’s a very healthy 55 pounds (just like his dad!) and has calmed down a bit from his puppyhood but still manages to impress us with his energy. He still has a great personality and we couldn’t ask for a better dog! We’ve found that he loves hiking more than about anything else in the world and have tried to do as much of it as possible with him as a result (bonus points for snow also!). This past year we’ve also been amazed at how adaptable and confident he is - we’ve been able to drive cross country with him and back without any issues. He’s always been happy to see new places and experience new smells and we couldn’t be happier with that part of his personality! David, Daphne, and Chase
3/1/21 Hi Kitsy We sure hope you are doing great. Blue is doing great! He will be one on 3-8-21. He is so fun! He loves to play, smile and talk. By coincidence, our friends the Meyers family are soon to be parents of one of your pups, Oreo. Thank you Kitsy for all you do with getting families together with some great pups. Warmest, April and Mark Avila
3/1/21 Hi Kitsy, We wanted to give you an update now that our handsome boy Buddha is a year old! (Jinx x Ransom 2/13/20) He is an absolutely smart and silly pup who loves to run, jump and play. He learned many tricks within days of coming home and potty training was a snap! Everyone who meets him loves his happy and energetic personality. Buddha went on his first ATV ride during our vacation in Utah last July and did incredibly well! We’re due to have a baby in the summer and we have no doubts that he will be a great older brother. You were right, he has the exact same stunning light brown eyes as his mom, Jinx :) Hope you and your family are well! Best regards, Erin & Matthew
1/29/21 Hi Kitsy Thought I would send you a little note as today is Chloe’s (Kindle x Sutter, 1/29/2020) first birthday! In the last year Chloe has become a truly integral part of our little family going nearly everywhere with us. She also completed her therapy dog training class and passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen exam and we can’t wait to start volunteering! On Wednesday we are heading off on a road trip to park city for her to play in the snow and are so excited to watch her experience that for the first time. She will play fetch for hours, constantly sleeps on her back, always brings you a toy as a gift, and loves swimming, playing in the hose and morning snuggles. We are freequently stopped for people to meet her and often told that she is the most beautiful dog they have ever seen! I don't think we could have ever even dreamed of a better dog, she is sweet and funny and sassy and makes us laugh every day! Grateful, Jesika
12/20/20 Hi Kitsy, We hope you’re well! Today is Bode’s 14th birthday!! (Wrangler x Cinder 12/15/2006). As a birthday celebration, he is getting lunch with one of his favorite dog-walkers, he’s wearing a festive holiday scarf, and he gets to visit the fire department later today. One lucky boy! Devin and I have LOVED him since we brought him home so many years ago. He’s incredibly loyal, sweet, and in his prime he was a fantastic ground squirrel hunter. Now he spends most of his time snuggling the cat and doing his best to wrestle with Hugo (our 10 month old aussie). As you can see, he has greyed a bit, but he’s as handsome as ever. I do not think we could have asked for a better dog. He is awesome!! Thank you :) Shana & Devin Reiss
12/5/20 Hi Kitsy, We wanted to send you a couple of pictures and give you an update on Trigger (Loretta X Ransom 7/20). Oh boy - the red hair syndrome is a real thing! This boy keeps us sooo busy but it has been SO MUCH FUN! He is very active & loving. He loves his daily walks and playing with doggie friends but also LOVES cuddling. He recently became very fond of water and does anything to get sprayed by the hose or jump in a river. He loves getting groomed! We recently took him to a groomer who has raised 5 show Aussies and she couldn't stop talking about how handsome he is. I can't even explain how happy he has made us. He is definitely spoiled, and that's ok! We love him so very much. Thanks for breeding our best friend, we love him! - Dylan & Carolina
12/3/20 Dear Kitsy, This is your beautiful big hearted boy from 9-15-2005. Wrangler was his Dad and he was in a litter of just 2 pups. He was incredibly kind, got along with everyone, kittens, cats, dogs, horses, the pet bunny, cows and more. He was smart as a whip, very mellow, he was potty trained in one day, learned the doggy door in one day, was my 5 year old son’s brother from the day we brought him home until he died in his arms in 2018 of old age. We couldn’t ask for a more precious family member, he was a big boy at 65 pounds. had a loving and happy personality and was in return so very loved and cared for. Thank you for him! I am a photographer by trade and when I was hired to photograph one of America’s Top Models from the tv show, I had Zorro groomed and he was a perfect gentleman and co-model in our shoot for Clairol! Here are a couple shots from the photo session in Los Angeles. My warmest wishes, Cynthia Smalley
11/29/20 Hey Kitsy, Wanted to share some recent pictures of Ruffles (Nighty&Ransom 2/20)! He is almost 9 months old now, full of energy and also very loving! We hike, walk, frisbee or go to the dog park every day and he loves being outside and going for adventure. Thank you so much for our best pal. Julia & Matt
11/14/20 Hi Kitsy Here's a recent picture of Sky (Sutter X Primrose 7/20). She's a little over 4 months now and even though she looks big, she still acts like puppy. She is so smart! She loves to explore and is curious about everything. But most of all she's very sweet and it's as though she's been here forever. I'll send more pics as she gets older. Lucy.
11/12/20 Hi Kitsy, just want to let you know how much Mattie (Sutter X Primrose 7/20) is loved and adored. She is so funny, smart and attentive. Everyone that meets her falls in love at first sight. Mattie and our granddaughter Skylar are best buddies and Mattie will not leave her side when she is around. I included a silly picture of Mattie in Skylar’s car seat - she sits there when sky is not in the car! Here’s some pictures! We are still looking for a blue Merle pup to add to the family, so if you know of a litter coming up and can recommend us to the breeder we would be thankful! All the best, Anita
9/27/20 Hi Kitsy, Our little pup (Sutter X Primrose 7/20) is coming Into her own! She loves treats and is learning all kinds of good manners and tricks. She can sit and down she’s learning how to roll over and when she gets excited she gets the hiccups. Today we hiked out to the river from our house down the hill so she swim in the river and she saw her first horse. We also met a blue Australian Shepherd on the trail whose name was also Maddie spelled with with D instead of T. She is so attentive and watches everything that is happening around her. She’s finally gotten used to other dogs and isn’t so nervous when she season pass in the street and we’re getting her out amongst people and in the car and around kids and she’s really settling in well.. We had our granddaughter Skyler stay with us for a week and Mattie loves her. Every day we would get in the car and go pick Skyler up from daycare and Mattie would turn into wiggly little puppy when she saw Skyler. And of course all of the other kids and parents at day care just went crazy when she would show up to pick up Skyler too. She is such a beautiful dog and she has such a good temperament! I am so happy that we picked her and that we were able to find you and get a puppy from one of your litters. I am still on search for a blue merle puppy to join Mattie, so if there’s a chance that you will have another litter this fall, I would be very, very interested. Hope all is well with you, and thank you for the joy you brought with this little pup, Anita
8/21/20 Hi Kitsy How are you? How did your kitchen turn out? Well, the Avilas are still enjoying and loving on Blue (Ransom X Nighty 2/20). He is a ham! He loves being loved and enjoys sticking his tongue out. Your two new litters are adorable!! Congratulations!! We will be in touch. All the best. April, Mark, Mason, Parker and Landon
8/21/20 Kitsy, I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to send you a photo of how beautiful our Elska (Loretta X Ransom 8/19) is now at 1 year old. She is such a great part of our family; she took a road trip to Oregon with us this summer and had fun playing in the river. She is very smart, full of energy and sweet and loyal. She loves herding our chickens everyday! We are interested in getting another Aussie puppy from you in the near future. We’d like to get a blue Merle boy, so please let us know when you have an upcoming litter available. Thanks! Elyse Cottone
7/18/20 We waited until all the Parvo vaccines went through to take Annie (Ransom x Nighty 2/20) out. She did really well on a harness and went for about a mile and a half. She loved all the new sights and smells :) she’s done very well so far and has become a member of the family! Hope all is well, -Joe
5/20/20 Hey Kitsy, I wanted to take a minute to share with you about the little puppy we brought home on May 2nd. We named him Ruffles (Ransom X Nighty 2/20), but I think you were calling him "black ears" :) which is a great name, because the black ears have definitely stuck! Ruffles is doing great. He got a little car sick on the first drive home, but has been totally fine in the car ever since, mostly napping on rides. He has seen the vet and got a great bill of health and has started his rounds of vaccinations. Next week he goes in for round 2 of parvo, which is exciting because we can't wait to take him out to play in parks! Below are a couple of more recent photos, as you can see, he's a beauty! We always get lots of compliments on him and love showing him off to friends and family. He LOVES all people that he meets and is also doing well with the few dogs that we have been able to introduce him to. He is sleeping through most of the night already and we are working on potty training and obedience. So far he can do sit, stay, spin, down, rollover, up, leave it and come! We absolutely love training him and are so impressed with his likable personality and willingness to learn! Thank you so much for raising such a good boy--he is an absolute joy! We will send more updates in the future. Julia & Matt
5/24/20 Hello! Annie (Ransom X Nighty 2/20) is doing great!!! She loves her new home and going for tractor rides with the kids. She hops in the back and waits for them to take her around the backyard! Joe
6/27/20 Hi Kitsy, Hope all Is well Thought you might like a new photo of Bandit ( jinx and ransom). He’s six years old now. We still get comments like”what a beautiful dog” when we walk him. He’s such a smart boy too! Likes to get in the pool when he’s warm and loves his toys. Thanks again for our wonderful Aussie ! Karl Matthews
7-14-20 Hi Kitsy. How are you? Hope your retirement is going great!!It's Mark, April and the boys. We are sooooo thrilled with Blue (Ransom X Nighty 2/20). Blue continues to amaze us.His health is excellent. Everyone compliments his blue eyes. He is very happy, smart, quick and a fantastic listener. Blue has enjoyed the company of our friends, family and other dogs. We are very blessed! You have wonderful dogs, and I will recommend you to others. Thank you Kitsy. Your friends - always!!
5/5/20 Hi Kitsy, Blue (Ransom X Nighty 2/20) is doing fantastic. He is sooooo smart. He smiles (grins) at us and is very quick. He is making himself at home. We are clicking and working with him. Most of all, we Love him! And everyone Loves him!! Thank you Kitsy.
5/3/20 Hi Kitsy, Hope you are well during this time! Lumi (Kindle and Sutter 1/20) has been adapting well to her new home! I’ve enjoyed spending this time with her and she is growing so fast. She is a beautiful girl and I’m trying to socialize her as best as I can during this time. Hopefully we can get into some puppy classes soon. She is full of energy and loves to meet new people. I’ve really gotten to love her more and more each day and she is learning some commands. Thank you Kitsy for making Lumi possible, she is a joy. I’ve attached a few photos from our play time today. Best, Gary
4/24/20 Hi Kitsy, I hope all is well with you. I thought I would send you some an update and pics of Sailor.(Sutter X Winter 10/15/2019)...... he's 6 months old now, 45 lbs and very handsome! Smart as a whip and yes he does try to outsmart us and sometimes succeeds. He is super friendly to people and other animals (he reminds me of your Scout). Sailor LOVES to play and run, never walks or stays still for long, he is becoming quite the athlete, excelling in agility. Thinking about trying him in water sports next. He is very loving and affectionate and I swear he understands everything I'm saying (and I talk to him a lot) He is the most curious dog I've ever had, everything interests him and he is always eager to learn, it's uncanny, yet awesome the way he will watch and study new things/ situations. And of course there are the naughty and mischievous sides too! When I'm out walking with him a day doesn't go by that someone will comment on how beautiful of a dog he is, people have actually stop their cars to let me know..... anyway we are madly in love with our boy and look forward to all the adventures we will have together. Here are some recent pics. James Clark
4/23/20 Hello, We adopted one of your pups in 2003 (I believe) while I was working in S. California. You had named her Bonnie, and we kept that name. Bonnie was the love of our life, and she passed away suddenly on June 25, 2015. Her last partner was named Reef, and we lost that precious boy on December 20, 2019. We’re still so heartbroken that we can’t adopt again just yet, but we wanted to tell you that your girl Bonnie lived a wonderful life full of fun and love, and we will cherish her memory as long as we live. I’m attaching a few photos of our girl so you can see how beautiful she was, and we want to thank you for making her life possible. Sincerely, Buzz & Debbie Marcus Sequim, WA
4/22/20 Good morning, As today is Chloe‘s 12 week birthday (kindle x sutter, 1/29/20) we thought we would send you a little update on our sweet, funny, piggy of a girl. She had her 12 week vet appointment today and weighs 18 lbs! She knows sit, stay, come, and down and pretty much potty trained her self from day one which we were obviously thrilled about. She continues to impress us with her intelligence. She loves her friend piper (1 yr German short haired pointer) more than just about anything...except maybe food. She’s working really hard to be friends with Burma the cat but the kitty finds the ear licking and tail biting a bit invasive. She loves water, is excellent at fetch and is happiest outside in the grass. She loves to have her tummy tickled, gives the best full body crescent shaped Aussie wiggles when she’s excited and burrows in whatever pillows she can find. She’s the perfect balance of our attached little shadow and a spirited independent puppy. She will just sit to take in new things just watching the world around her always assessing a situation and always learning from things she’s wary about the first time around. She’s fit into our little family so nicely and we couldn’t love her more. Best, Jesika and mike chalker
4/20/20 Hi Kitsy, Devin and I hope you’re doing well. We wanted to send some updates of Hugo (born 2/13/2020, Jinx & Ransom). In the two weeks since we brought him home, we’ve had lots of new experiences. This past weekend we were in Idaho so he: took his first flight, hiked all over our property, went to the snow, snuggled in front of the fire, and tried out the lake. He’s been doing fantastic ❤️ He travels very well and has a great personality. Thank you! Shana & Devin Reiss
I4/12/20 Kitsy- Happy Easter! The ride home was uneventful. It gave us plenty of time to finalize a name. We landed on Scout (Jinx X Ransom 2/13/20). It was on our short list and we liked your Scout so much it seemed like a fit. Our other dog Lilly is getting used to having him around and they’re actually starting to play pretty good in the backyard. Kennel training and house training are going pretty well. He can be pretty mischievous, but also super lovable with my boys. So far, so good! Attaching a couple of pics. Thanks again, Jon
4/6/20 Dear Kitsy, I am letting you know that our Lash (DOB 12/12/04 Willie/Amanda) crossed the rainbow bridge this past summer. He was 14. We will never have another dog quite like him with his mind reading abilities and his healing nature. He stayed by my side while I went through chemo and when we acquired his great niece Grace 8 years ago (DOB 2/21/12 Austin x Bella) he took over the role as lead puppy trainer. Little Gracie has proven to be as smart as a whip and so eager to please. Our next dog will definitely be of the same lineage, we are completely hooked on Aussies and Old West Aussies in particular. Enjoy the photos, we had several of them done when Lash started slowing down. Audrey, David, Tyler, Spenser and Sonora
4/2/20 Hi Kitsy, We finally came to a decision on a name for our beautiful blue eyed black tri boy. His name is "Indy" (Kindle x Sutter 1/20) and I think it really fits him. He is so smart. He is learning everything so fast. He is really going to keep us on our toes trying to stay one step ahead of him. He is getting along great with Sky our beautiful red tri girl from Jinx. They are so cute together. They wrestle, they tug, they run, they relax together feeling the breeze. Indy also has a bit of an old soul in him. My three year old granddaughter is autistic. When they met for the first time Indy sat and looked at her for a bit. Then he gave her gentle kisses which she loved. He is very careful with her. He seems to know how to be with her. He is fitting right into our family so well and bringing us so much joy and laughter. Thank you so much
4/2/20 Dear Kitsy, I truly hope this email finds you well. We are heartbroken to say we lost our beloved Chloe to cancer yesterday. She was 12 and from your November 2007 litter of Cinders. To say we are devastated is such an understatement. She wasn't just the best dog she was a once in a lifetime dog and the love of our lives. We took her everywhere with us. She made five of our cross country moves and in January made one final move to our retirement home in upstate NY. She was pure sunshine and everyday with her was a gift. Our one consolation is the fact the we have Brandy Bleu from you who is now a rambunctious teenager at 19mos. While her personality is completely different from Chloe's she too is such a joy. I am attaching some photos because we want you to know how grateful we are that you let us have her. Thank you again for breeding literally the best Aussies in the world. Sincerely, Heather Malone
2/2/20 Hey Kitsy, Hope all is well:) Today is Bowie’s (Primrose X Sutter 8/19) 6 months so we thought we’d send you a photo update. She’s great and we love every second with her. Julius Lee
1/2/20 Hi Kitsy Hope all is well and you had a good Holiday......Just wanted to send you an update on Sailor..... He's 11 weeks old now, he's wicked smart and learns fast, so far his temperament seems to be pretty even keel, oh he zooms around and gets into stuff, but he mellows out and responds to commands (sometimes ).... he is charming and absolutely beautiful. Everywhere we go people comment on our handsome boy. I will keep you posted as he grows Sincerely Jan Clark
